Default New Repop Rally Gauges

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-GTO-OEM...f37ccb&vxp=mtr

The pictures of them look 1000x better than the previous attempt at reproducing these.

Anyone have a set of these (or seen them in person)?

Yes,the complete dash unit is interchangable also,..The checkered flag would not be correct on a '64 speedo

...and the tach is nothing like a '64 tach. It will fit, but really stand out as 'incorrect' if you are a purist.

Thanks guys, I think if you paint the tach needle red, it would look better

Has anyone had any long term experience with these aftermarket gauges? Do they work and function as well as originals?

I bought their rally tach (The Parts Place) alone for $139 almost 3 years ago. (Original was missing.) I've been happy with it.

I swapped in a very nice 1965 Rally Gage Insert back in the early 70s.

Dropped right in. Loved the Full Sweep Tach (vs the 1964 90 degree tach).

At the time, I could buy a 1965 Tank Sending Unit 90 ohm so I swapped that in the car too and the gages worked great for a few years.

Then I had a 1965 GTO owner who had a set of bad 1965 gages and was willing to pay several times what I paid at the junk yard for the super nice 65 gages I had. So I pulled out the gages and put back in the 1964 gages (with the wood insert that was on the cluster when I bought the car from Pontiac). Brass Hat Car.

So now I have a 1964 Cluster/Tach and the "correct" 1964 Swirl Dash.

I really liked those 1965 Gages though. And the wood insert.
(the wood insert was on top of the swirl insert so it was added for the Brass Hat's car.)
