Default Took Two to the Show Yesterday

Took both the 65 and the 70 to a show yesterday. My buddy's Galaxie was down with some paint work and he asked if he could drive one to the show. Great summer day and both got awards.

A convertible at a show with the top up, was there a rain threat?

I let my buddy (the ford guy) drive the convertible. I didn't want him to get the full Pontiac GTO experience because he loves Fords and he doesn't deserve it. Actually, I didn't put it down when we got to the show because it was bright sunshine and the black interior really takes a cooking/beating over 8 hours. No real threat of rain. I also told my buddy he had to wear my "Pontiac GTO" ball cap all day. Because he readily said okay he would, I backed off (didn't want him sweatin' it up). It was a nice day for a drive there and back. He drove it like a grandpa (didn't know he had it in him as he absolutely loves to do burnouts with his car and does them very often). Maybe it was because I told him I had my pistol and he he beat and broke something, I would be forced to shoot him.

Thanks much nashcar. Very nice herd you have there!

If you only knew how much I appreciate you giving one of those deranged Ford psycho's "the treatment"...LOL!
If they only knew better!
