Maybe the one for your year and model of car would be the one.

1972 was a weird year. It uses a different bracket than the 70 and 71. Look for a 73 or 74 (pre HEI) bracket. They are pretty much the same as the 72. The reason for the change was that the 72 intake manifold had a slight alteration to the intake runners and the heat riser which forced them to alter the throttle cable bracket mounting points and thus the coil mounting spot.

The 1972 coil mounts to rearmost holes in the driver's side cylinder head and NOT The throttle bracket like 70 and 71.

I am not so sure that the coil bracket is the same on a 400 vs 455 in 72. Obviously ignition plays a part. I seem to recall having 2 different brackets.

That bracket is just like Steves, take out bolt and slide it on the intake stud

I think that bracket is made for bolting to the throttle cable bracket.
Is there a part number on that coil bracket?

I have been trying to save pictures of correct/untouched stuff, and figured these images might be of interest to you;
unrestored/untouched 1972 Pontiac 400 with a points distributor (unfortunately the images are a bit small).

oh!!
How about this!!

grd777, your bracket looks like a pre-'72 unit. If I get out to storage in the next week, I'll try to get pictures of a '72 and a '73-4 bracket.
