want to restore my a/c compressor , looking to see where i can get this decal

The large number, 738, is the tail of the decal part number if you are shopping around. The repros often have specifics missing that were typed in for applications.

looks like firebird central sells them, what year did they go to the red lable ones

They already make the one you want. The red versions were Frigidaire under license and were earlier than the Delco Yellow with some overlap.

But since you've posted this in the 70-73 section, do you have a 70-73 or a 78?

I’ve never seen a correct ac decal repop. That’s why I said have yours scanned, then printed. Make how ever many fit on a sheet, sell them, it’ll cover the cost.

burd, why would he make a decal that's not for his year vehicle. The posted compressor decal is a March '77 unit.

A '72 will have the 1131012 decal.

that is what came in the box of parts for the a/c . maybe is not the original one

Because scanning and printing will get you a more accurate screen-printed foil transfer lol.

No, the yellow is much later but they still suit the basic A6 compressor body, the attachments tell the story with year and application.
