Transmission Specialties 8" Torque Converter
This is a 8" Transmission Specialties race converter. I had it done a little over 15 years ago, raced it for 2 seasons, then sold the car. Kept the drivetrain and set the converter on the shelf thinking I'd eventually use it in something. I decided it was time to clear my shelf and I uncovered this converter that I forgot I had. Don't have no plans to use it, so it needs to go. I had it in a 3000 lbs. '68 Firebird with an iron headed 455 and a turbo 400 running high 9's - low 10's. I was getting about 4500 stall out of it. $350 shipped.
