did you decide against the BJ Mohegan auction? based on the GTO sales, it looks like it could have done very well. just curious since you're right there in CT.

I did decide against it & they called me every week leading up to it - promissed placement in advertising, premium times, blah blah blah. No telling what would have happened when it went across the block. Pay fees, go no reserve, either bid on it myself & take it home if I don't like the price or let it go....and remember, it's not a GTO.
Not interested in that kind of high wire act without a net.

Chris,
When I was thinking of selling my Formula I talked with people from Mecum. They came out to my house and gave me an idea of what to expect the car to possibly sell for. I was never pressured and was encouraged to put a reserve on the car so that i might get what i wanted for it. I still might go down that path in the future ( when I want to retire and pay off my house ). Good luck with your sale. |
