Default FASTEST time with RA3 manifolds

What is the fastest anyone has run with with RA shorty exhaust manifolds (not long branches)? Combo would be helpful.

Sorry, I don't know of anyone running the RAIII manifolds at the track, but...
I know that Bruno B. has has his pure stock RAIV GTO in the low 12s. I don't see any reason you couldn't get there with RAIII manifolds. Jay D. was into the 11.70s with his worked over logs and my 4000 lb. Lemans street car is in the mid 12s with mildly worked logs.

I am surprised here. I thought a dozen or so guys would have jumped in saying that they had easily ran in the 11's ( back in the day).

Default Ram Air III Manifolds

You will probably get more responses by posting this question in the Street or Race sections. I'm curious myself as my 67 GTO has RA manifolds and Pypes exhaust.

I ran 12.40's a few years ago at one of the pavement pounders series that HPP does. That was a 69 judge with full exhaust, RA manifolds. The car was spinning bad. I think if I could have hooked it up may have gotten into high 11's

My friend Tim Dodson runs 11.70's with the RA D-port manifolds through the exhaust that exits at the rear of his car... I believe his car is 3300ish pounds. Rest of the combo is ported 1968 16 heads, Comp XR288HR cam, 462 ci.

11.70's thru the RA manifolds, 2 1/2 exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and tailpipes.
It's a 455 with XR288 cam, mildly worked cast iron #16 heads, 950 carb, 2700 converter and 3.70 gears. The car weighs about 3450 with me in it. It runs really good and I didn't want to pay for custom headers to make this all work in my 83 Buick Regal. (Tim)
