Transmission help 2009 Buick Allure
So I just went to leave for lunch put the trans in drive went about 2 feet no more go....seems like I have reverse and it will kinda move in low...that's about all I had to time notice right now....
I have noticed sometimes it was kinda delayed going into d from reverse when pulling out of my driveway.... Any help or known issue with these trans is appreciated ....Chris

If it has a 4T65E, which it will have if it's a 3.8, you probably have a broken low band as it is a common failure in those transmissions.
If you can get it to move by being easy on the throttle, you will probably find that once it shifts into 3rd, it feels fine.

Here is what I found once I started to see what it was doing R seems fine D nothing 3 nothing 2 it will move the car but get a shuddering feeling if I try to get it going a little 1 feels about the same as 2nd...I get a shudder in it Looks like I'll be pulling it and getting it rebuilt....ball park to have it rebuilt with the usual needs stuff for one of these...just curious..
