Default POCI founder Don Bougher

Has passed.
I can remember seeing his name in SMOKE when my father joined that club in 1981 and many years after
THANKS for all the hard work you put into this segment of the hobby.
Rest easy.

He was a good, honest and very ethical man. I served on the POCI board with him for years.

If national events are held near any of the Pontiac legends final resting places, a cruise to the burial sites should be organized.

I originally joined POCI in 1978 (my member # is 3596). I recall exchanging paper mail with Don somewhere around then, and meeting him at (I believe) the 1980 convention (my first) in Gettysburg. He was so helpful to me as a young guy (17, going on 18) just getting into the hobby with my first car. He was genuinely interested in what I was doing and took the time to answer what were probably far too many questions.

Sad to hear of his passing.

(I also met Kurt Kelsey at that convention, and he sold me my first NOS part for my '63 Bonneville... Sad that Kurt's gone, too.)
