Default flea bay

Photos of this car was on e bay......after I bought it. It was never listed by the seller. It was a year later, obviously some kind of scam.

Springfield Green...... My 72 Formula came that way. I won't be painting until I save $$$, primed now, but I can't decide if I can bring myself to put it back that color. I almost like it, but it has a baby puke tinge to the color...... I can see it in the trunk and door jams, so I have a pretty good idea. In some light situations it looks great, in others, well...... It is almost like if you modified that color just a bit, little more vibrant green in it, it would be killer. What is interesting is looking at it close, it is almost a metalflake type paint.

but your car does look great!

Keep in mind too, that my Esprit has 37 year old acrylic lacquer. Only the front bumper & valance have been reshot. That shade might look better in a nice, deep base/clear.

So since that Formula is a '70, is that Keylime Green?

I just happened to see it on Cars Online for $12,500 in Kentucky.
It is an Esprit with the hood and spoiler treatment, 350 auto with green interior. Not sure of the color, but it must be really faded to have been Keylime.

that looks like Palisade Green to me, nice looking car. I've seen that color on '70 GTO's and it looks great in freshly painted bc/cc

Car ended up being an overpriced POS IMO. It was an original paint 61,000 mile car judging by the clean underside and the original belts, hoses plug wires etc.. under the hood though... The car had moisture damage but is a rock solid California car. The interior was falling apart due to dry rotted stitching etc.. The car ran like crap... I doubt the oil had ever been changed.... The guy wanted $4,000 and wouldn't budge. IMO it was a $1500 car.... I just didn't have any intrest at the price he wanted..

a couple of my old ones.the gold one gave it's life to save a matching number red 73 Trans Am that wwilder9 is redoing.despite the rust you can see, there was alot of rust free parts on the car.

the blue one went to a guy around cleveland,it is a true brewster/tan car that was repainted before i got it.was going to have it redone while i was in Iraq, but he came up with the cash,so it went and the 70 GTO got it's place in line.
