1976 was the 50th anniversary of Pontiac as a division of General Motors. One way Pontiac celebrated was making option packages for specific models. The Trans Am was the best-known model, but they also had an option on the Grand Prix.

This hood ornament was one of the ways that made this option distinctive, along with an ornament covering the trunk lock cylinder. Unfortunately, I don't have one of the trunk ornaments.

This ornament is in very good condition, with no pitting or other issues. The colored plastic portion of the ornament is in excellent condition, as seen in the photos. The colors are still bright and vibrant. This would be perfect for someone with one of these Grand Prixs with a faded ornament.
