I am installing a 64 389 in a 64 GTO and the trangle shaped bracket that mount between the mounts and frame are different in height. The right side is shorter than the left. Is this right?

Just looked at mine , looks like drivers side is about 1" taller never noticed before.

They can only go on one side. If you put one in place and the second one won't line up with the holes on the other side, you need to swap them around.
