I know some CRX, S2000 and Supra people that would say the same thing about GM vehicles.

Very true Chief. Many would say you could add unreliable to that list.

For GM? For imports? Or all of the above?

I say all of the above.

You couldn't give me a GM product built after 1977 and every high performance / high horse import lives a short life.

I meant for GM. Many of the cars we are talking about from the 80’s/90’s had terrible build quality.

I have a cousin that refuses to own a domestic vehicle. He has a '16 Toyota Tacoma 4x4... He didn't like it when I pointed out my 2018 GMC 1500 4x4 with a 420hp 6.2 gets better mileage than his Tacoma. I guess driving imports makes him feel superior..

As much as I will never purchase a late model GM product ever again, I will say that GM vehicles across the board get some of the best fuel economy on the market. Too bad you need to get rid of them before the warranty expires.

the 6.0 iron block HD trucks are indestructible. you just need to give up the fuel economy and you can have all the reliability you could ever want

The 6.2 in my Super Duty is indestructible as well and with almost 180,000 miles, never was in for any warranty work and never so much has had the valve covers off. That's my idea of reliability. Plus, I thought my '11 Super Duty was ugly, then the new GM trucks came out. Now my Super Duty don't look so bad.

If I didn't have to tow so much weight I would have a Tundra.

I really wish I would have bought a 2003-2008 Viper a few years ago when they could be bought for $28-33k.

Kinda surprised the SRT-4 Neons have disappeared?

Not into the imports but I’ve seen some very fast ones on the street and at the strip.

My nephew has one, it's a pretty neat little car. They weren't very sophisticated but they made a lot of power for their size. My brother was a Chrysler engineer who worked on the Neon design, which explains why his son got the car. It's kind of funny since my nephew is now an engineer at Ford.

I have one of these. It is powered by the same intercooled turbo 4 that the SRT/4 Neon had.

It scoots around pretty good for a 125,000 mile beater.

So my dad sent me a Craigslist ad for an 85 RX-7 for sale for 14K with over 100,000 miles. Obviously this raises a red flag - is this a deal, market price or a dreamer???

Turns out it’s an original paint car with limited repairs in light blue.

https://dayton.craigslist.org/cto/d/...269185161.html

Top Hagerty value is $31,900; Average value is $16,900!!!

I’m my opinion, and I run on Trans Ams, Coors Light and stripper glitter this is a car a lot of us overlooked.
