I believe the only ones that will be allowed in are buyers and their guests.

That’s the way the auction has been run since the Covid Pandemic.

I attended the summer Mecum auction in Florida during the pandemic. Face masks were supposed to be worn but some did not comply. I believe only those with bidder credentials were allowed inside the arena where bidding took place. Those with general admission tickets were allowed anywhere on the grounds and in display buildings, just not the bidding area. They may have different requirements based on the state and county the are conducting an auction. I expect the rules for Florida will be the same as this past summer. We have not had any additional restrictions here in Florida and most of what we had early on have been lifted.

I was in Florida a few weeks ago. It was very relaxed. Non bidders have not been allowed in the main Arena for a couple years, so probably not too much different.

I pretty sure it will be like it was in the summer. Only bidders allowed on the floor but no seating on the floor unless you are a gold bidder. Ill let you know tomorrow.

I chickened out. The cost of shipping down, and back if no sale, is too much money. Will wait for Indy. Will go to Florida to look around, and hopefully see the sun

Looks like some high end cars selling this weekend.

I went to the one in Houston and it was pretty relaxed - face masks required but you could pretty much anywhere. They ran out of beer do they obviously weren’t expecting people to show up

Anyone look at the prices? Definitely up, especially considering such an uncertain economy.

I thought people paid up for a lot of cars this year. It must be pent up from other auctions being shut down. What seemed odd was that the amount of people at the auction was low. I guess there was a big amount of online bidders.

The price of the 56/57 Pontiac’s shocked me- but there were some very high end builds.

I’m sure a record was set for a 56 Pontiac!
