My wife is a long time Bama fan and so last night was a happy time. She got her love for Bama football from her dad who never recovered from the loss to Notre Dame back in the Bear Bryant era. Too bad he wasn't around to celebrate this years victories over Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Felt bad for the kids on Ohio State. The look of defeat in their eyes having to let those last few minutes wind down looked awful.
Alabama is just such a powerhouse.... |

I was all set to watch the game. Watched the last half of the Pre-game show. Then just before kickoff time the TV station switched to Texas 911. It looks like I would need to get the satellite TV system with the extra sports package to be able to watch the game. I canceled that service a little over a year ago. The price was just to high. $2724.00 per year is just a little to steep for this guy.
