Wow, three Brewster SD's? I'd have to give up my name for that guy. How long ago did he have those duties? I thought I knew where most of them are? Would love to have that 69 matador bobcat car, WOW that one sounds cool! PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES

Ed,
Nice rides and that 74 duty looks killer with those honeys. Thanks for posting!

He had a pair of brewster green sd's 1-4 speed and 1 -auto ,One 73 sd red 4spd ta ,several 74 sd tas and formulas including the one he bought brand new and still owns .And the 73 Silver Formula SD auto that we have been talking about. Also a couple 70 tas raiii and a 70 ta raiv 4speed white with blue custom interior . I don't remember any HOs but I'm sure he had some over the years, I listed the main cars but I know he had others come in and out over the years .Kurts a great guy and was very accomodating when I was passing through .
Just corrected my post .

I just corrected my post , This was in the early 80s and he kept them for many years . The 69 GTO RAIV Bobcat car I heard went back to the original owner . That car was very impressive . He had the best SD collection that I knew about .

Matt: I did go back and check my notes and it is the same gentleman: Kurt G. (odd last name, German I think?). He bought my car in 1980 from a guy in California who was selling two H.O. cars, my 71 and a 72. He thought my car had been sold originally to a military guy in San Antonio who then got transferred to California. I spoke with him in early 2008, not long after I bought the car from Mike.

Brew: He was still on the right side of the sod back in 2008, but was getting up in years at the time. Still lived in El Paso. He had a 74 SD Formula but I didn't write down what color or other details, but remember it as being rather rare.

No pics , one of my big regrets from early days in my travels and experiences is not keeping a camera with me . He is not on the forum . I do plan on coming to Poci as of now .

Another of my aquisitions was a Red 73 TA Sd 4 speed from Massachusets , the car had power windows , amfm and a white custom interior . I traded a 72 ta auto car for it . Don't own it any more , sold it back in the late 80s . Very original car that eventually went to a collector on the east coast .

On a subject closer to reality. A friend is about to put his SD up for sale and wants me to market it for him. 73 auto, no AC, red, black custom. 38k miles. It's been completely gone through but not a concourse resto, just a very nice driver quality. Sounds like he's wanting upper 70s. I can vouch for the car as I owned it for about 10 years. Sold it to him 2 or 3 years ago and he's done the cosmetic work on it. All correct but a service SD carb. Rocky has worked on it and something tells me he'll remember it quite well. I'll get some pics and post here before ebay.

Brew,
I really hate A/C in muscle cars, just another pain in the arse to keep working considering that these / our cars do not get driven enough with the A/C on to keep the system "lubricated" so the seals don't dry out and cause leakage.
Besides, it robs power even if not using it! Hate A/C

JMO, and yes pictures!
