The time has come to reduce the size of many of my collections.
Have already made a start on the trading card collection. Going to sell most of my Pontiac GTO model collection. Kids want a few, but will list the majority for sale. ALL plastic models are unbuilt, in the original box, several still sealed. ALL diecast models are never removed from box, many limited editions. There are 93 different plastic models, probably every one produced prior to 2000. I did not count the diecast (don't currently have room, but guessing close to 100, most 1/18 or 1/12 scale. Will keep the built later issue 1964 painted to look like my GTO. Will keep the 1966 MPC slot car that I bought new and raced. Will keep the Arnie Beswick autographed model. Will keep a few more random models for the kids. You will not find these models in nicer condition; prices will reflect condition. (1) Starting with the one non-GTO in my collection. This is a 1959 Pontiac "Fireball" customizing kit by Aurora, kit number 965. Date on instruction sheet is 1961. White plastic body pieces have been removed from trees; chrome small pieces still attached to trees. Box has a couple of scuff marks, but very nice. Price $125. plus shipping. (2) COX 1968 Super .020 GTO. This model has a gasoline motor like the flying model airplanes. Body and chassis are still secured to the inner box with the original ties. This model has never been removed from the box. Box has a few scuffs, and one taped corner. Price $1000. plus shipping. Will be listing additional models. If anyone is looking for a great collection, and would like to pick these up in Eldon, Missouri; I would discount prices for volume purchase. If anyone is looking for a specific older model, please contact me. 573-392-7378 (9-12, 1-4 Mon-Tues central time) or PM. Jon

Interesting question!
The scale is NOT mentioned on either the box or the instruction sheet. The body comes in complete sides, minus the grille and bumpers. Either side is approximately 1 inch longer than a 1/24 GTO. This model was produced in 1961. The later Aurora models produced in 1965 were either 1/24 or 1/32. Given the comparison with the 1/24 GTO, I would say the scale is maybe 1/24 or 1/25. Jon

While I really appreciate the interest in this thread, I am going to stop listing additional models here.
No complaints, this is my problem. I am having a lot of difficulty getting the pictures to be right side up. I use an Iphone to take the pictures. Apple stores their pictures in JPG format??? but Apple's JPG format is not compatible with Window's JPG format, and my PC has Windows. I have conversion program to convert the Apple JPG to Windows JPG, and then of course edit the pictures. Somewhere in the conversion / editing the picture orientation is TOTALLY UNPREDICTABLE! And what is worse is trying to compensate. One picture may display correctly on my PC, and then be facing left on the internet. So rotate the picture 90 degrees to the right, and now the *&^%$# thing is facing right instead of correctly! So the end result is I will continue to list the models as time permits, but only on my website (I have good editing software to correctly orient the pictures in a site page, AND I can do it offline). I have started the web page, and have included all known (at least made before 2005) GTO models, and will fill in the pictures as time permits. Really a comprehensive checklist. Here is the link to the models for sale page: https://www.thecarburetorshop.com/GTOmodelssale.htm Again, I appreciate the interest, and also this forum owner' allowing us to barter. Just either need to go back to school on pictures, or use my large digital camera. Jon

Now have about 60 different models listed, and not yet finished with 1966 (started with 1964).
There are a couple that are seldom seen (the K & B slot car, and the Paramount slot car). So far, more than 60 percent still have the factory original sealing. Will list more as time permits. Jon

ALL of the unbuilt models I have found are now listed, and pictured.
A few of the better ones have been sold (reflected in the listings); thank you. Diecast will have to wait a week or so, just sold a truck load of racing carburetors, and have to find them all, and assemble in one spot Jon

Took pictures of 40 different diecast models, about half of which are PYE, over the weekend, only about 75 to go. Virtually all are 1/18th scale, NRFB. Found a couple more sealed unbuilt models as well.
