92 Trans Am Chassis car
I'm thinking about letting my 92 Trans Am chassis car go because of lack of time. This car will cert for 6.00, but needs the seat belt, and window net updated. They are new ones in the car, but it's been so long since I have had it out they are out of date again. The certification is out of date as well, but I'm sure it will re cert with no problem. If it does not I will make the necessary updates to it so it will. I have no time for this car so it needs to go. It has the ford super 9" fabricated rearend with 40 spline axles and strange aluminum through bolt center section. The rear suspension is an updated pro 4 link with the wishbone and anti roll bar. New front tires, slicks only have about 30 passes on them. It has bead lock 16x16 sfi rims with 34.5x17x16 Mickey Thompson slicks, and Goodyear 26x4.5x15 front runners. The ignition system is a Mallory programable box with msd HVC coil. The fuel system is a Mangnafuel 500 pump. It has a Funny car cage, dual parachutes, aerospace brakes, wired for 3 stages of nitrous, pro hood scoop, pro rear wing, autometer gauges, motor plates for Pontiac engine, set up for turbo 400 or glide, custom built stepped headers for round port heads or RA5 heads. You can by it as a roller no engine or trans. Or you can buy it complete with RA5 455 pump gas engine already in place. This car with a 700 HP 455 went 8.50's - 8.60's at sea level and 8.70's - 8.80's at 3500 feet at about 153 - 158 mph. Best 60 foot was a 1.16 it usually 1.18's - 1.19's with the engine I had in it. This car flat out works and is deadly consistent. I just want something that I can play with on the street. I thought about converting it to a outlaw street car, but I have no time to even consider that right now. I would entertain a well built Firebird or GTO set up for the street that I can put a RA5 in as partial trade. This car is very well built and gets a lot of attention everywhere we take it. It really needs a big horsepower engine so it can stretch it's legs. That has been my intentions ever since I bought it back in 2003, but I just cannot seem to find the time for it. Somebody needs to get this old girl out and show her off. $40,000 with RA5 pump gas engine turn key or $25,000 less engine and trans.

Motivated to sell and spring is coming. You cannot find this quality of a chassis for less. I have custom built headers for round ports I will throw in too. Still looking for a 98 or newer Corvette for trade.
