I am undoubtedly in the wrong Forum area for anything to do with 1948 Pontiacs. They were hardly performance cars!

Does anybody know where I might better find a Forum for such vehicles?

The Pontiac Oakland Club International site is: POCI

Also, try your question here. Several of us more mature (can't say older ) geezers on this forum.

Thank you. As a Member of POCI, I'm already "there".

And as time goes on, I might just ask a question or two as well on THIS Forum.

Many thanks!

Try the Yahoo '1950's Pontiac' group. Go to Yahoo Groups and search under 1950's pontiac. They have a forum but it is not divided into different subjects.

Murray...I've owned a few straight 8 and 6 Pontiacs and still pilot my 41 coupe around. Before that, I drove a 48 Torpedo back 2 door with straight 8, hydro. Maybe I can help if needed.
