I need oil pan bolts and a new harmonic balancer. I'm sure I need more but those are my main concerns right now.

Oil pan bolts? any parts house should have bolts. If I remember, they are about 1/2 inch long, 5/16 dia, coarse thread. Balancer, any early 60's will work, 6 bolt mounting.

So as long as the bolt pattern on the balancer is the same it should work. Sounds easy enough for me. Thanks for your input.

Most of the 195 4 cylinder parts are interchangeable with the 389 V8, including the complete heads. The exception is the crank, cam distributor and possibly the oil pan. Get yourself a Hollander interchange manual to find out for sure. It'll be a lot less expensive to get your parts from your local auto parts store than a specialty shop, even if you have to buy 8 instead of 4.

Hi, I have a complete 1963 Tempest 4 cyl engine you can have for $150, you would have to come & pick this up.

It is missing the carb & the alternator but all of the major parts are still on it, including the oil pan & the front balancer/pully assy.
It is still sitting in a parts car I bought.
EM back for me info or pics.

Thanks Peter but I see you are all the way in Ohio and I'm down here in Texas. If I was any closer I would jump right on that deal. Thanks anyway.

Hi, Roadway is running a sale, I have another 4 cyl I am shipping from Ohio To California for only $300. I had to build it into a wood crate where a forklift can pick it up & move it around, & I have to take it to the terminal. The buyer has to go to the Roadway Terminal to pick-his motor up, but for $300 that's a deal!
