A customer left me a 62 to install a set of front discs. He also indicated that rear disc would be nice too: So I am tearing into this 62's swing arm setup, and am brought to a halt by this inner flange.

Is it removable? Heat?, or just a gear puller? Normally I would say uh-uh, but I figure the bearing must be serviced somehow.

The flange on the end of the axle will come off by removing the retaining bolt & washer on the end of the axle. then may need to use a puller to get it off. For reassembly, clean well & apply anti sieze to both parts & assemble.
