NICE CAR!
Interesting color combo.
Can't say I would have ordered it that way myself, but good to see the oddball combinations showing up.

Agreed, Lloyd, VERY nice! I personally like the red interior on the blue cars. Once you get past the shockingness of it, it actually looks quite good IMO. Of course, I like the white w/blue stripe '70 T/As with red guts too.

Console delete is really cool. Steve, was this for sale at a classic car dealer over in OKC at one time? I swear I think I've seen this car before.

Now that's a color combination I have never seen before. I am not usually a fan of red interior but I kinda like the red and blue.

thanks steve for posting the pics. if i were to say i was stupid on the computer i would probably be bragging.

i was curious to the response of the color combo. i have been told there were around 7 of them built. dont know if that was just sd cars or any 74 ta. anyone know for sure, let me know.

i have owned the car for many years (all correct and unmolested except the original owner replaced the valve covers with factory chrome ones) the car had no rust or body work needed other than some door dings, but the paint was egg shelled and from about 5 foot it was beautiful. well, my friend talked me into letting him paint it. so, a little over 9 years (yes nine years) ago, he completely disassembled the body parts and did it right, but right before he was about to spray it, tulsa had an enormous hail storm and he was approached to do some hail repair. he asked if i minded if he put off spraying it for about a month so he could make some quick money and that didnt bother me. well, 9 years and 1 month later i took these pics (last week) when i picked it up. he did an outstanding job. it is one of the straightest and nicest paint jobs i have ever seen. the interior is original and not replaced. ( i took the dash panel off before i took it to him because it was so nice i didnt want to take a chance on anything happening to it )

for my friends sake, i will say that he never let me pay him one dime until it was done and even stood good on the price he quoted 9 years ago.

thanks for the compliments.

I love that red interior on that color car. It really pops.
I wish mine had something other than black interior. The black inside the dark blue just makes the whole car kinda null and void appearancewise.

Nice SD, muscle collector! How about a first name to go along with your moniker?

As Telly said, how in he!! could you wait nine years? I'd have gone stir crazy long before that, LOL!

I'd have to guees that it would be one of seven total '74 T/A's in that color combination?

That is an awesome looking car.

Chris, I don't think it was a console delete.
Consoles were an option, so it wasn't ordered

Strange it has Custom interior though and no console.

Here's another one lurking about this town, but a 73.

Did I need to mention that yes they are both real SD cars?

Nice cars would be an understatement.

I love the blue over red - same with the white with blue stripes over red - especially in 69.

i honestly dont know. he is a really really nice guy and hard to be mad at. that and the fact that everything he has ever painted has just been way better than expected. and time went by so fast you dont realize how long it had been. thank god he didnt get it done before the poci convention or it might have been there and got repainted.

and yes steve, the original tires and rallye's are going back on it.
