Goldenrod Yellow Trans Ams came with the gold bird. This is how they should have done it; the graphics absolutely pop in person. I can put the bird on in under 10 minutes. The paint prep work took many months, however. The honeycombs are original to the car, as is all sheetmetal.

Very Nice, the Yellow with the Orange Decals look great!

Here is mine. 1976 T/A with 400ci/auto. 47,000 original miles. All body panels, interior, and engine are original. Have only made a small handful of mods which include dual exhaust, Hooker Headers, a 3.42 rear gear, stereo, wheels and tires. Paint is about three years old. Car runs and rides great. Looking to rebuild engine this Spring…it’s a shame these cars came out of the factory with less than 200HP.

Thanks for the compliment !!
Car belonged to my father-in-law before it became mine. He was the second owner. He bought it back in 1983 when it had 32,000 miles on it. I took ownership in 2000. So, technically, it has been in the family for about 25 years. It was in good shape when I got it, but it needed some TLC. I had it repainted about 3 years ago. I've put a lot into it to get it looking, riding, and running good. As for the decals, I doubt I will ever put them on the car. I know it is a feature that most T/A owners like to have, but I prefer the clean black look (just my personal preference).

Default 76 TA

Your car looks great in black without the decals. My 73 wasn't ordered with the hood bird either. I picked up a spare hood scoop (to remove the block off plate) and haven't even put decals on the scoop. Nice clean look.

Brew-were you able to take out one of your cars today?
If not, maybe tomorrow? 70 or so in the Chicago area on Wednesday. Spring is here-a couple days anyway.

I hope you keep those VSE wheels on it! I love them.
They are worth big bucks and are super hard to find!
Guys with a FireAm would Kill for those!

I was wondering if anyone would notice the wheels, good eye! We love em too. We bought the car from the original owner and he put the VSE suspension and rims on her in the late 70s or early 80s. It really makes the car look low and mean.
