New Crower #66294 solid roller lifters
The instruction sheet that came with the lifters says not to run oil restrictors in the lifter bores. The Crower lifters have oil control built into them. So, should I remove the restrictors or leave them in? This is for a drag race application.

In the past when talking with Crower they were very adamant about using no lifter bore restrictors. I do not know if they have a "Chevy" type oiling system on their mind with this "catalog statement".
Or are they familiar with a Pontiac oiling system ... I cannot comment with any authority on this, but do you homework on this subject. My IA2 set up is street use and I run a .060" restrictor with my solid roller cam. Why wouldn’t you follow Crower’s recommendation?
They know their product so why question it. If in doubt call Crower and talk to one of their techs.

I did call Crower tech support. They said the lifters have oil control built into them. They said not to run restrictors. He then admitted that he isn't familiar with Pontiac oiling systems. He suggested that I consult with fellow Pontiac racers, hence my post here.

No need to use restrictors with Crower standard Pontiac roller lifters.
