Sweet! Looks very nice. Can you share any details of the build or how the car is optioned or history of the car?

Certainly.

I bought in from a guy in Arizona. He got it in California, paid the non ops, then titled it in Az. I have a copy of the Az title to show that.

It Had a sticker on the windshield from El Camino College (LOL no kidding) in Torrance California. It was for the 69-70 school year.

Under the awesome Earl Scheib (LOL) paint job that was on it, on the back edge of the trunk Lid, was a sticker from Watson Truck and Auto in Lovington, New Mexico. I scraped the paint and w2as able to read it.
I researched what I could find. Watson Truck and auto has 2 dealerships. One in Hobbs New Mexico and one in Lovington New Mexico. The Hobbs Location was a GMC truck and Pontiac dealer at one time. The Lovington
location was truck parts and used cars/trucks from what I can Gather.
In Summary, I think it was sold in Hobbs, as a new car, then traded and sold as a used car in Lovington,New Mexico, and sometime before the 1969 School year it went to Torrance, Ca.
Then bought in 07 By The guy who sold it to, me.

That is the most info I have on the car. It has a California VIN Rebadge so no PHS for this car. I dont really mind. Its not original engine trans anyway.

Nice job! I like the body color in the tail panel. When my '64 was only a year old, the red peeled badly. I had no idea the dealer would fix it, so I tried satin black. Here's how it looked in 1965 and after restoration in 2012.

That’s funny about the El Camino College sticker. Sounds like you got that thing set up real nice. Like everybody said, enjoy!

Nicely done. I probably saw that car. I lived close to El Camino College in '69-'70.
