Default My '69 Judge project...

I bought my dream car ever since I was 4yrs old last October, I am now 34... I have been working on it ever since. The guy that I bought it from had it for 39 years and never touched it. He bought it with original motor and trans removed. He acquired a pile of parts through the years including a pair of n.o.s. front fenders, valance, front marker lights, and two sets of stripe kits all still in there GM boxes. I have started a frame off restoration on her. This is as far as i have came in 6 months...

69RamAirIIIJudge-

Great work! Your Judge is coming along nicely. Glad to see your dream coming true!! I had the same dream when I first saw a Judge at the local Pontiac dealership in 1969, I was 13 years old. I promised myself one day I would have one. It took me 46 years to finally get one. You are doing a fantastic job with the restoration. This is the place to ask any questions you may have, as there are a lot of folks with vast amounts of knowledge willing to help. I don't think there has ever been a question I have asked that went un-answered, and I have asked a lot of questions. Thanks for the nice large pics! Please keep them coming and have fun restoring then driving your dream!

Thank you Charles! I will try to keep updates as I go. I can only dream of seeing these cars in their glory! I grew up around these cars all my life. The '69 Judge was always my favorite, that carousel red just gets me... Thanks for the support!

4 yrs old started project? And you're only 34 now?..haha quite a childhood...
Well it seems you're were born to do this. Plus, waiting for the right Judge. You acquired all those mad restoration skills and tools.
Because, this is a big project, and not for the amateurs.

Anyways, you did get a nice one to begin with. What's the details? I see CR, 4 speed? OEM engine and Trans in good condition too? Interior? What cool parts did the previous owner have? Fenders? Valence? Roof skin?

Keep up the great work!

Yes, CR, 4spd, 3.55 peg leg, no hood tach, fixed headlamp, rally guages, in dash tach, RA III, disc brakes, redline tires, buckets and console. Original motor and trans long gone. Came with a '71 400 block to rebuild. N.o.s. fenders, valance, front marker lights complete, 2 stripe kits still in their GM boxes.

This is my 2nd '69 GTO frame off resto.
