Default Wheels for 68 GP

What year Rally II's will fit on a 68 GP, other than 68-70 full size? It's the standard 4 wheel drum brakes. I know it has to be a 5" bolt pattern, which seem to be pretty hard to find, since most came from A-body cars. I tried one from a 78 GP and it would not fit over the rear brake drum

Any 71-76 Full Size, and most 77-79 full size station wagon wheels will fit, but they are 15X6, the 71-76 full size cars would be your best bet, and the 71-72 have the smaller centercap holes.

69-86 GP's were based off the A-body chassis and will have the smaller 5X4 3/4" bolt pattern

I have code hh 5 on 5 - 15x7 rally II’s I think they were off a 78 Granville). They are for the wagon, but they are on the catalina right now.
Try to find the 7’s They are harder to find but are out there. I like them better than the 14’s and 15x6

I've got a couple of sets of big car Rally IIs- one set 15x6 and one set of 15x7. Not actively looking to sell, but I'd sell if someone was in need. Not that far from you in southwest CT.

What a perfect example of a 67 GP vert!
I'm hunting for big car Rally II's 15 X 7 myself & consider selling my 15 X 6's

IIRC, the '67 Full size Rallys were a one year only 14 X 7. Now that would be a rare wheel!

Are you thinking of the JB coded 14x6 Rally II's, first Rally IIs avail on a B series.

I've never come across a factory 14x7 with 5 on 5 bolt pattern & started pulling original Pontiac Rally II wheels & documenting the actual assembly plant uses, in the mid '80's.

What about 14" wheels? Would those only be the 68-70's?

Yes. They went to 15" wheels as standard equipment in 1971. That was also when disk brakes became standard equipment.

On the 5x5, did they have the 14" center section and wider valve stem area like the 5x4 3/4 JW, KR, KN?

So just to be sure, if I'm looking for 14" wheels, the only ones I can use are from a 68-70 fullsize? No other cars compatible? Prob. going to be hard to find Rally II"s in that case.
