Default Rear quarter rocker trim installation

My '67 GTO rear quarters behind the wheels needed some panel work (typical). I am test fitting all the rocker trim to make sure it fits well and that I have all the mounting brackets/holes. The repaired quarters don't have any holes for the trim mounting. The bottom obviously just screws in, but how is the top held in place? Are there clips needed or were the small studs used? A photo of the rear quarter behind the wheel with the trim removed would be most helpful Thanks as always for the great support!.

I don't have pics but pretty sure the factory had studs. Ames sells small screw in studs for the windshield that would probably work for the quarters. (G134G) in the Ames catalog under windshield moldings.

Here are a few pictures of my 67. I used some small screw in studs available through Fastenal.

Perfect - thanks. Now all I have to do is find the clips :-)
