Default Need contact information

RAII 4-speed,
It would be great if you could send me the owner's name and email address to wmurrell@comcast.net. I will then send him a detailed email describing the registry. The registry has proven to be a great platform to share photos/stories and get technical help. We currently have documented 25 cars.

Thanks for your help and welcome back!
Bill

The registry is still alive & well! We have documented 33 cars to date and have a lead on another three. We continue to find a couple of cars per month. It is getting much more difficult so...

Any additional leads would be greatly appreciated!! Just drop me an email @ wmurrell@comcast.net.

Default Still looking for addtional cars!

Update: We have documented 36 cars to date.

Still looking for '65 GTO convertibles that were factory equipped with 4 spd & tripower. Just send me a copy of your PHS documentation at wmurrell@comcast.net (or send me a private message) to join the registry. All the data collected is being shared with other registry members. We currently have an enormous spreadsheet with detailed data from all the various member cars. It is very interesting looking at all the different option combinations and swapping stories about the history of the individual cars. There are very few of these unique "65 GTOs left and our goal is to try to locate as many as possible. Cars can be in any condition to join the registry.

Thanks!
Bill

Bill, I happen to have two 65 tripower 4sp convts in my shop for restoration right now, one bluemist slate and the other teal turquois, I think both customers would be ok with joining registry, I will make sure , then send you the info.

Thanks to the PY forum...I found the current owner of the Riverside 500 convertible and hope to speak with him soon.

Thanks!

Good job, Bill.

45 cars is nothing to sneeze at; keep up the good work.

Default We are now up to 50 registered cars!

Found a few more cars during 2014 and we are now up to 50 cars. Leads are still coming in, but things have definitely slowed down.
About half of the cars sent to me this year were either converted 4bbl's (and the owners claimed they didn't know) or forged PHS documents (two separate cases).

Any 65 GTO convertible with tripower and a/c is also really rare. How many could there be - definitely less than 1,000 were probably built - auto or 4 spd.

Send me a copy of the billing history card and we can sign you up! Would have responded sooner, but lost power for 8 days with the storm and still busy trying to clean up all the trees that came down. Thanks for reaching out! Bill

earlier in the thread you mentioned forged PHS documents, if I got these directly from PHS could they be forged? I hope not. How can you tell if they are forged?

If you got them from directly from PHS, they are good.
(not received from seller as being from PHS)

Has there been any update of this registry since 2020? The best I can tell the last update shows 59 cars. Is that still a correct number?

There is a verified ‘65 3x2 4spd. Convertible on BaT now.

Not sure if this has been recorded yet?

A red one with 3.90 and transistor ignition just came up on BaT, and the BHC is posted.
If you don't already have it in your register.
