Nice find. Great color combo and with no vinyl top... even better!

The A/C seems to work, but I haven't had a chance to check it out much yet. This is the first chance I've had to wash it since I got it. Had a bunch of mud dobber nests to get rid of. Looks better in the pics than it really is. Gonna need ALOT of tlc to bring her back to where she needs to be.

Got the trans back in it this weekend. Not too bad of a job once the trans was on the jack. Now to find the over-heating problem.

Found out the previous owner put "peanut" plugs in it instead of the correct gasketed ones. Fuel filter was super nasty! Big chunks of crud. Plug wires had some repair done with duct tape.

Looks like I'll be pulling the 400 Saturday. Any of you in the area are welcome to come by and witness the hi-jinx!

Been a few years since my last engine par-tay. Hope I didn't forget anything....

Engine pull went well. I'm feeling it this morning though. Fat boy don't recover as well as he used too!

The engine cradle I got from Summit fit perfectly.

Now its off to the machine shop.

Muscle Motors in Boonville.

He's done three engines for me and they have all been good. Some people hate them, some love 'em. I've had good luck.

I have a 428 block in there right now getting cleaned and magged. I know he builds a few Pontiacs from time to time. Many years ago I bought a 69 Firebird 400 from a friend that had him build the engine before I had purchased the car all I can say was it ran like a raped ape and I beat the h**L out of it regularly for the two years or so that I owned it still ran great when I sold it!

Do you ever get to any car shows around The E'ville area? I don't go to very many but if you see a Verdoro green 69 LeMans stop and say hello.

I used to do about 15-20 shows a year with my LeMans and then with my wagon. Didn't hardly get to anything this year. It will probably be another year til I can drive the Prix. We occasionally check out a show in my buddy's '66 Grand Prix. Its a really nice car. Kinda blue-green.

Hope to see you around!

Those look really good. Can you please share specs? Are they 15s? What size are the tires? Thanks

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I had to go look at the car to verify.

Fronts - 15 x 7 With 245/60-15 Coopers

Rears - 15 x 8 With 295/50-15 Coopers
