Default Boxed Control Arms

Has anyone boxed in the upper rear control arms for strength or not a good idea. I was thinking of boxing in my lowers and uppers on my 67 GTO. I see in the book
"Pontiac GTO Restoration Guide" they mention a different upper control arm part number(9788993) for the lower HD rear axle gear ratios.

They are under tension - not much need to box them.

Roto-joints may be a better thing there.

The arms are boxed to reduce twisting. Boxing the arms, creating a rectangular CSA, does next to nothing except make you feel good. To resist twisting, the CSA should be round.
The upper arms are too short to make a difference that you could feel.
