These are before and after cleaning the interior. I was pleasantly surprised how the interior still blings.

Yes, I plan on enjoying the car as is for a few years and then who knows ??It will be fun to show it as close to original as I found it. Hopefully this summer if the wife doesnt kill me for spending to much $$$ on misc parts..

Hey Brew! Welcome to the A-body club! Love the Judge and can't wait to see it some day. You scored a winner! A-bodies are a different animal compared to the F-bodies, but I love them both for there differences and similarities.

Hello Dennis, It is no f-body but the A-body has grown on me since the gto nats. I still love the f-bodies and miss having one in the garage. Might have to change that someday soon and actually talked to a guy today about that.
Hope our paths cross soon and throw something at your brother for me

Thumbs up

Wow! It's amazing you found this Rare Gem so close to home. I really like the stance-ride height, tinted windows and all those options! You've found yourself one really sweet ride.

I have a tube of touch up paint for it. Came with cat station wagon that my Dad bought new.

Great find Brew! Love the character and old school side pipes. Put some Cragars and 60 series tires on it with some air shocks and have fun doing some burn outs. Maybe even ad some traction bars. Enjoy getting to know the A-Body. I now have an A and an F and love ‘em both!

I think I'll pass on the air shock since I love the stance but craigers are a must. Thanks

Well BJ, I Was looking at somethings today and learned it already sports a set of air shocks. Funny and also found the bumper part number too. Crazy and love this car.

That’s cool...old school day two mod still installed. My 71 has a hole it about that same spot on the bumper which may have once served as the mounting location for the same purpose.

Two brothers in high school each had GTO’s with that same set-up. One was a 71, 400 M40 in Limekist with Jade Green interior; the other was a 72, 455 M40 in Lucy Blue with the Tuxedo interior. Two of the best looking cars in the parking lot. I always parked my 71 LeMans next to them. Mine was Adriatic Blue with a Cameo White painted top, blue interior, bench seat, column shift, 350 2bbl.

Trying to get this car together for a buddies car party later this month. Jeepers does anyone have a drawing on deluxe belt package for the rear. These belts dont make any sense especially with these shoulder belts.
I am assuming things got moved around at some point???

Also I never could paint but for this driver it will pass for now.
Cheers

Thanks, hopefully I can make the date. No mask required either

These A-bodies are a pain compared to the f body. Hell I thought those where bad but I was wrong (again).

Thanks! I forgot to mention yes they are date coded.

Still working on nose to fit correctly. Pain since to grind brackets one has to mark and remove the nose. Then remove the brackets in order to have access. Reassemble and try again and again...No wonder these body guys make the big money.
