Hey Robert thanks. Keith you old Ferd mechanic, hope all is well with you guy. I'm still alive. I stay on the down low so the Space Aliens can't find me. I hate it when they talk thru the fillings in my teeth. Otherwise, been pretty quite around here. You guys having breakfast Sunday morning at the Cafe? Mark L

Looking good Mark. I was worried you might have become Markus Nomotivatus...all that waiting for the weather to cool off, and then............

Great idea about overlapping the frame rails to make it work! I remember that conversation. I'm good for something once in a while.....LOL

Seriously though I am excited to see this. I might just decide to do something similar for the TA if I can make it work. Just to stiffen the rear of the car further, and I REALLY want to try splitting the wheel tubs to do my own mini-tub. Where did you get the frame tubing again and what size is it?

Keith gets off work for HOW LONG??? Can we expect some "extra effort" put into the fuel dragster now?

The Fueler does not need much effort at this time. What is needs is $$$ for nitro, clutches, valve springs and crew expenses. Other priorites are keeping it down the list a few notches.

I just received my timing set and roller bearing cam retainer from Scott Sims. What a great looking timing set and the retainer looks first class.

I'm looking forward to getting this in and working with all the other parts in my 406.

Worked on the frame rails last couple of days and the trunk lid is off and the underside cut out. I also cut out all the lid hinge ware.

Empty trunk.

Frame rails in, still have finished welding to do.

Archaic but it works. Have to add crossmembers for springs/shocks yet once I determine the exact placement of the axle. Mark L
