Z bars for my Harley?
I've decided I want to put 4" or possibly 6" chrome Z bars on my '02 Softail. I've seen some from the '60s that are very close to what I'm looking for. However, they are not dimpled for the modern controls. So, I've been shopping for about a week and all the new ones I can find are too narrow between the uprights. The vintage Z bars are 9 7/8" between the uprights which I think is great with the wide glide. But, the widest 1" diameter Z bars that I can find new are 7 1/4" between the uprights... quite a difference visually. I've found some of the "fat" bars that are pretty close, but I really prefer the 1" diameter.
Any suggestions?

By "Z" bars I'm going to assume you're talking about handlebars. And if you're referring to the indentation on the under side by the controls, they're not necessary. They only put those there as clearance for the wire harness. Not needed.

Found some from Paughco that appear to be pretty much the same as the vintage ones I had seen previously. Of course every place that sells them is out of stock. Wonder if they are being discontinued? I added a picture of the wider ones I am looking for.
