dynedta, I have a 1963 389 that came out of a Grand Prix. 15H code. There is no intake, exhaust manifolds or any brackets. It is pretty much just the short block with heads. I may have a dist. for it, but will have to look. Not exactly what you are looking for but if you are interested or have any questions let me know. Thanks

I just pulled a 389 out of a California catalina that was supposed to be a driver. car had no brakes, hasn't been driven in six years. I cant guarantee that it runs but to me it looks like the motor or the heads were re done. the block code is 15h and has 797 heads also has very nice 4 bolt timing cover. motor is complete from air cleaner to exhaust manifolds. this is currently hanging on my engine hoist. $750.00

I am not sure if the one I have runs or not. I have had it for 3 yrs sitting under the work bench, got it with some other parts I picked up. It's not froze up, I can turn it with a rachet. My guess is it would run. 50/50 chance on how well. Thanks.
