A couple pics forwarded by Mike's brother Bill:

I suspect the shoe polish number (and sheepish grin) betrays a spirited day of racing at "Lapeer International Dragway".

57. Had pancreatic cancer for 17 months.

The more I hear this kind of thing the more impressed I am with Steve Hoog.

Keith

I feel like The Lone Ranger, everyone is going around me and I'm the last standing. Not sure why either, I'm nobody special. I almost feel guilty in a way. Mike Nixon hit me the worst, I really wanted him to hang on and fight.

I'm a bit over taken by it all. We have actually had half a dozen die in the last year it seems within our local chapter and couple from clubs close to us. It's out of control insane.

Steve, your courage and will to live should stand as an example for all of us. Still praying for you.........

But here is the problem hurry, I don't have any courage or will that the next man doesn't have. I am not special.

Anyway let's not get Off Topic and disrespect Mike and Keith.

Updated info:

Hello ,
I must apologize for the long delay in getting back with you. The family needed time to firmly decide on which cars would be put up for sale. So, your patience is well appreciated. It is very difficult to go thru your Father’s & Brothers collection and decide what stays and what will be let go. So, the first car being put up for sale is the 2 + 2 Pontiac. Listed below are the features the car was born with (verified by PHS) and following the list are the updates made to the car during my brothers ownership. PHS documented. Condition very good to mildly excellent street/show quality.
Options:
2 + 2 Performance, 2 door hard top
Maize Yellow, Parchment interior/black accessory
421/4-V8
Automatic Transmission
Power Steering
Power Brakes
A/C (in working order but no Freon)
Tinted Glass
AM/FM pushbutton radio – rear speaker
Remote drivers mirror
Trunk lamp
8 lug wheels
White walls (new tires)
Console
Added: 3 x 2 barrel Rochester carburetors, 421 factory headers, 2000 rpm stall convertor, X – pipe with dumps, original engine rebuilt 12m miles ago, upgraded comp cam 513224-4, valves, springs, Odometer shows 93,000 miles,
New rings, did not have to over bore.
Asking Price: $43,500
