Default 1986 Tran Am - The Rebuild

Hey All, My Friend and I just got back from picking up his 1986 Trans Am that was sitting outside his parents house for 11 years. We just got back from picking it up. So far it looks like it needs a nose, hood, tires, front struts, and brakes. Gas tank has 11 year old gas in it. Did not even try to start it. Decided to check everything carefully before we even attempt it. If anyone has ever picked up a car that was sitting outside for 10+ years and wants to offer any tips, tricks, or advice on where to begin, Please post it. The T/A has the automatic with the 305 TPI engine. It is suppose to have a custom PROM in it that was tuned back then. It is black with the gold interior and has T-tops. The door and hatch seals are all dried out. The car was sitting in Missouri and has never seen salt. The under carriage and exhaust look very clean. The interior has a mildew smell. Suspect the windows, hatch, and/or T-top seals allowed some leaking. The seats had seat covers on them and look great. headliner cloth is hanging down. We plan on pulling out the seats and carpet so we can clean/replace items as needed.
