Talked to the guy at Evans Cooling and he has run a few prototype cast impeller pumps for the
11 bolt water pump vehicles.

He will provide more info.

I also asked him to work on a reverse rotation pump for the Pontiac guys who want to run a serpentine belt without all of the extra idlers the March system requires.

Hopefully good news for Pontiac guys!

67,

The 8 bolt style is easily upgraded to the 11 bolt timing cover/pump and is considered an improvement by most Forums members. In concours, the 11 bolt will go unoticed in any judging below the POCI or GTOAA National levels.

Considering the tooling costs and how small the Pontiac hobby niche is, recovering your costs and making a profit could be tuff.

67cruiser...an aluminum 8-bolt pump with a cast impeller is in the works. We should know sometime next weeks the milestone dates on the production.
