Default Wierd Pontiac Dreams

Well Im down in Virginia on vacation with the family and am getting way too much sleep at night, so the dreams seem to be getting odd. I had a dream last night that I finally finished the body off restoration of my 67 GTO. It was the big day, maiden run. Im in the garage, start her up, sounds great, looks great. One big problem, the car was too wide to get through the garage door, then I wake up. It figures!! Im sure some of you have had some odd dreams.

Default Yep!

I've certainly been there. I've dreamed several times that I was driving a '65 GTO, 4-speed, up the road from my childhood home. But when I put the pedal to the metal, very little happened. It would just putter slowly on up the road. I could snatch a gear. but it would not change the speed at all.

I've thought about it a lot. Sometimes dreams are a combination of things that you have experienced. In my case, we had a '61 Ford family car with a straight six and three-on-the-tree. When you got it into third, you could mash the pedal as hard as you could, but there was just no acceleration to be found. And thats exactly what happened in my dream with the '65 goat. Sweet dreams ya'll!

Its like a fight in a dream, no matter how hard you try to punch, you have nothing.
