After a 6 month hiatus while I renovated a house, finally uncovered Ruby. Fitted up the Valence permanently, and lightly fitted the front bumper , as it need to come off to fit the hideaways soon. One happy camper here.

Also fitted the steering column, though now can't find my Cancel cam aarrghhhh.

Missed Motor Ex Marv, to busy on this. I bet it was good.

Got the tank in finally and the electric fuel pump and filters. I'm hoping it's going to be ok there with my Blue slip inspection. Any ways I think it at least looks good. Ha

Had an original radio (thanks Scott T) modified, so it has full Bluetooth capability, USB, etc. with no visual clues to the user. Very pleased with that.

Well, I have to say that this was probably one of the most. annoying fiddle tasks, though the results were great.

Not sure if anyone noticed but the dash wood was cut from “Laminex”. Using a template I had it cut at a local Hydro Laser cutting service. It worked really well, I know it’s not original looking, but I think it looks better. The gloss gives it an expensive look, and I know it will never curl or peel. It’s there for good.

Personally I think the dash looks better that the factory wood-grain. Your car is awesome!! After 9 years, mine goes to the body shop on March 1. The guy doing the body is more excited than me Now to pick a color

Thats awesome, its a very existing time huh. I love the paint we chose, though in hindsight, its being a 3 part paint system, its very hard to blend the paint if I ever have a touch up to do, so next time I might think of something that is easier to touch up.
