With the promised 100' of "social distancing", it just might work out well.

Yes it did. It was quite successful, I watched some of it on Speed Video. My Youman’s did not qualify and went out first round in the consolation race. Those Pro 275 cars are running in the low 3.80s. The bump was 3.96 IIRC.

They did interview Mr Youmans a few times and the announcers (including Duck) gushed over that GTO every time it came up.

Tommy must of had mechanical issues, or he blew the tires off traction wise.

I'd say mechanical. Any video of a pass?
Looks like maybe 3 passes total. (2 qual. and 1 race)

Possibly didn't have time to fix it, so ran it as is?
(as a launch then coast through?)

Didn’t look or sound like anything mechanical, appeared to be the tune and/or chassis set-up. But that’s my opinion from the cheap seats in my den. He had the tuner from Fuel Tech there helping I believe. It would have taken a career best just to make the cut.

He did explain why he choose Kauffman over Butler. And he called out any other Pontiac door car on any tire. Lenco Jim (the trash talking interviewer) referenced the guy that wears his baseball cap down over his ears. lol

Butler has some big time Visner billet block and head builds/cars coming along. Twin Ts I believe.
We will know a lot more at some point, can't wait.

He gave props to Butler and their achievements with twin turbo engines but preferred KRE because they are (his words) “innovators”. They design and develop their own parts (heads specifically in this case) vs using Edelbrock heads (again his words).

Interesting that you have nothing useful to post. About the only thing you seen half able to do is is personnel attacks. You do know that anyone who is sub-scripted to this thread was emailed your full original "LOAD" lol

Innovation
