LOL!!! My car started out from Charlston Sc but has been in AZ for so long. I probably have less rust on my 50 year old car than a 2 year old rust belt car!!

Its "rare" to them because its probably the only one they have ever seen! Us in the "hobby" are used to it & have a pretty good idea what the going price should be for a rust bucket, builder, driver, original or restored car.

I do get a pretty good laugh from some of the for sale cars & the descriptions & prices!!!

My NJ rust belt car picture taken in '81 - spent its first 19 years outside driven daily and rarely washed! Fenders and rear valance heavily rusted (& dented), floors, trunk and rest of the car solid and rust free, not counting the surface rust.

The sales pitch and other additional comments that are in some of these ads can be entertaining. Scroll through this one.......

I like that description, even learned a new term from it... Googie Architecture. I want to go back to the days when everything was Googie.

I love these ebay slicksters. Worked when removed-usual rust. You ask them to measure something and they can't or won't or don't know how or the last guy said (standard) how many you want? I am learning. If they don't give the answer to the question-Don't buy

Ouch!! The dash was cut for a radio! The car is on a lift but there are no pictures of the underside of the car and only one picture of the motor. Makes you start to wonder what he is hiding.

It looks like the cowl tag paint was stripped off - that red is the primer that was used on the cowl tags (and really tough to remove). I believe the S paint code is the bronze, so the exterior color is close at least in the photos.

I bought this car a couple of months ago. Just installed fuel cell, fuel system, and wiring harness. Currently mocked up mid plate and front plate, rerouting brake lines/line loc. Trying to get crank centerline set is pretty tough, but i'm getting there.

I may need some serious info. from you guys in the coming months. Roll cage with new tunnel and floor are on schedule for later this year.

Another nice one! looks like its in Keith's neck of the woods. Wrong jack, gave up on the turn indicator and steering wheel, looks like they found a radio that fits (or is the dash cut?) wrong air cleaner, wrong door-sill, quickie re-upholster...bids are coming in fast and furious.... buyer beware?

I drove that car home from Memphis about 5 years ago. Had plans, cancelled plans. Back then the rockers and floor needed a lot of work. How good the body is under the new paint would be my #1 question. Some "detailing" has been done under the hood. Everything else is as I sold it, including the battery I installed. Yes, the dash was cut for some cheap radio.
