Default Aftermarket wiper motor? Who knows this one?

Hello guys I am trying to use a wiper motor that looks like the one in this photograph. it lays flat on the firewall instead of the original stand up vertical looking one. With the tall valve covers I have it would be much easier to use one that is later style but I’m having trouble trying to pinpoint This particular motor or if anybody has done this before and has any experience Using this flat style. Thank you in advance everybody’s always a big help here. Darren

The only thing I could find that's similar is a rear window wiper motor.

I remember seeing one of those used on a 69 firebird years ago... the guy said he had to modify a few rods to allow it to articulate properly however he said it was rather easy... I dont recall exactly what wiper motor he used though...

I plan to figure it out when I get to that point in my build.

SPEED SAFE, NICK

Thank you guys for the leads I did check out Detroit speed and also looked at New port wiper. Both definitely tidy up the area. I just did like the retro look of the one in the picture I posted. I’ve been working on every car on the planet I have my own shop with three guys who work for me full-time I can remember holding One of those motors in my hand but I can’t place what vehicle I was working on at the time (probably 30 years ago ). It may be from a Mopar or even Ford also I was thinking it could be out of a door /tailgate window possibly?

The wire connector looks just like a GM alternator plug. Like 73-80ish

I started to mock one up this one is out of a Ford Taurus from the 1990s era maybe I’m being too picky but I didn’t want the big wire harness coming out of the top of it just to have one speed. I don’t mind shutting the switch off at the right time to get them to park on the bottom.

Darren, that wiper motor in uour initial post sure looks SLICK, hope you can figure out what it is. Sure like to have one w that appearance in my '63.

For sake of elimination, def know its not from an 84-96 Jeep Cherokee, have pulled & sold half dozen of their rear hatches having to reload wiper motors in a few.

I have seen those wiper motors in 61 Tempests. I may have one you can have, I will check tomorrow and get back to you.
