Do u have an original or aftermarket...???
It should fit from what I know I think 72-73 left factories with the plastic valance but were damaged easily and changed out to the steel ones...
I prefer the look of the plastic one...Chris

I’ve also heard they require a lot of work or “ could “ require ....to fit correctly ....That was one reason why I decided to stick with the steel...
I see early birds offers a fibreglass unit...wonder how they fit....Chris

Original plastic valances will bolt to your bumper/lower fenders just fine. The lower center bracket to the rad support is different however. No biggie. A custom piece can be easily fabbed up.
I love the look of the plastic valances too, but nowhere as durable as the tin part.

As long as you don't hit anything, the plastic holds up well.

Sure. As Norwood posted, a repro is available. But I'm showing a couple pics of two different designs brackets I've run across with plastic valance FB's I've parted. The one on the right is Pontiac #484749 and is the one I've found most often. The one on the left is an oddball. Never seen another one. This was off a fairly late '73 Esprit. Spacings are identical, in spite of the way it may appear in the pics.
Any one else seen another of this oddball?

That first bracket looks more like an exhaust manifold locking washer with bend over tabs that someone has made 'work'.
