X 2, David. This hits home for me simply because my wife's entire family is still raw from the issues with their mother's illness and death. I'll remember Beth in my prayers.

MD Anderson... get her there as fast as you possible can. They saved a buddies wife that was caught up with cancer 4 years ago. They are the ones that got her her health back.

My thoughts an prayers to your wife, you and the family.

my buddy is a 10 year survivor..3 days after diagnosis, his wife revealed she was pregnant... so he had a reason to fight

he used traditional western medicine, and ancient chinese medicine for the recovery..he still goes to st Louis 4 or 5 times a year to a Chinese doctor, for treatment to manage the pain..mostly from the side effects of the treatments

he does the whole acupuncture, smoke in a hot glass on the skin thing..and uses herbs and roots, etc..she treats his body and his mind..and he says it really works for him..

of course the western doctors say poppy-cock..but maybe treating ones soul and mind is as good as fighting the disease..he really swears his Chinese doctor did as much or more than any western doctor..he says she really works on his psyche and brings positive things to his life instead of dread and worry...

i will get the info if you want her contact stuff..

Wow, I am saddened by this immensely. Hoping and praying for a recovery.
From a non medicine perspective, Cancer usually only can reproduce in a acidic environment.
Getting all the body PH in line can help the body itself fight off cancers. (Apple cider vinegar can get the PH in line)

Cayenne pepper in the food , I have it on my Eggs now in the morning. Cancer Hates this pepper... https://thetruthaboutcancer.com/curing-with-cayenne/

Praying for a WIN on this BJ and beth.. My heart goes out to you... Be strong

Default This link hopefully will give you a lift.

https://www.carriesbeanies4braincancer.com/

Background story here is Carrie Bickmore is a popular TV compare here. Her husband contracted brain cancer when their child was only very young. Perhaps 3y/o. Sadly, her husband passed away after fighting hard and long against this disease.

During a TV awards night a couple of years ago, Carrie stood up on stage to receive an award and she pulled on a beanie and made an impromptu speech just to make more people aware of the need for more research and the need for funding. I believe she was hoping to raise a few thousand dollars by selling some beanies with the proceeds going to BC research.

The speech went viral (here) and to date they have raised over $5 million dollars and are seeking to raise that much again.

Read the link, I know it will inspire you. And the very best of luck and good wishes from me.

Ian

BJ, this is such a difficult thing to go through for both of you. Had my own bouts on two occasions with prostate cancer so I can readily identify with what you are experiencing. We are all pulling for both of you during this struggle.

Thanks again to all of you for your kindness , prayers and well wishes. We are looking at all options and I appreciate the referrals. We are already using Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) and will research the other recommendations.

Bruce, I’ve read a lot about the PH factor and will look into the pepper as well. Terry, I’m sorry you’ve had to fight Prostate Cancer. I had a call from a good friend today letting me know that he has it now and will have surgery to remove his Prostate on July 23rd. Glad you have survived it!

BJ

Beth will start Radiation and Chemo on July 16th.

Hey BJ , i really didn't want to post in this thread.
Brings back too much from the past for me.

You're one of the greatest guys on this forum and i hate to see this has found its way into your life.
Especially being your wife.

On the good bright side, i think they got her diagnosed early enough to make the difference , with room to spare.
You folks hang tight and tough.
Sing like nobody can hear you.
Dance like nobody's watching.

My prior step-mother was borderline when hers was discovered.
Almost immediately had to do frankenstein type surgery on her brain.
Real touch and go during that.
Been over 10 years ago and all has been going well , after some recovery period.

My younger cousin was not so lucky.
His was discovered too late and beyond the point of any returns.
And that was a brutal means of departure.

AFter a two and a half year battle with this awful cancer, my sweet Beth went home to be with the Lord this past Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 7:22 AM. I was with her, holding her hand and telling her how much I loved her and that it was OK to go. We would have been married 38 years next March. She was a light that could not be dimmed. The cancer may have taken her body but it never took her spirit. I will miss her deeply.

Here are some photos from our early days and some recent ones.
