Adding a RobbMc fuel pressure regulator to my fuel system. They recommend running a seperate hose from the regulator to each fuel bowl. I was previously using a Duel Inlet line (see pic) on a Holley DP that would make the plumbing much simpler.
Is it ok to stick with that or is a seperate line to each fuel bowl that important? Any pics of how you plumbed your regulator would be appreciated if you are using a mechanical pump and a seperate line from your regulator to each fuel bowl if that is the recommendation over the Duel Inlet line Thanks DV |

I ran a single -08an line to the a 950 carb at 590 hp with no issues on my car. Same as your pic. No track time though. I also ran two -06an lines to a 1050 dominator on the Firebird with no issues at the track. I run two lines from the regulator up to the carb. Sorry no pic. I guess it depends on the HP level.
I suppose the size of the pump and lines will or could affect the supply of fuel to the carb as you know. The only way to see what's happening is to have a remote fuel gauge connected to the fuel line and watch your fuel pressure at the finish line. I believe around 6 or 7 lbs on the fuel pressure gauge.
