Default 04-06 GTO - What percentage have been wrecked?

It's amazes me to see all the wrecked 04-06 GTO's. Are most of these accidents due to too much power in the hands of younger drivers or is there a design flaw in the car?

It was the same back in the 60s, GTOs and other muscle cars were wrecked by people that just didn't know how to drive a car with that much power.

I have owned a 05 GTO since new so there isn't anything wrong with the cars. If you turn off the traction control, 400 HP can get way ahead of your steering input in a fraction of a second. In the 60s most muscle cars were lucky to be putting out 300-325 HP, add another 100 HP and the rear is always wanting to be in the lead unless your steering input can keep up with it.

There used to be bumper stickers in the 60s that said "Ban low performance drivers, not high performance cars". It's still true today.
