I’m not a glass date code expert. But I do see a 71 on the door glass. And that looks like a 72/75 California inspection sticker on the windshield, which doesn’t look to have any cracks/chips.

And some more.
The sticker with the 9 is, I think, a pass to get on Fort Richardson/Elmendorph Army/Air Force base.
I believe the car was purchased in California and they shipped it up at some point in the 80’s when they relocated to Alaska.

M71 isn't a date code. It's a Model designation for the glass itself.

M71 - AS2 - No tint - 1/4 thick - Tempered - Float - door location

I can almost make out the date code. It'll be under the word "PLATE" on the right side. Two character code. I see *maybe* an "XY"

Thanks. Nice crisp air cleaner decal (leaning towards the lower mileage status). It's in the '71 style, so it probably has the studs on the underside. But it would be nice to see anyways.

SSSSOOOOOOOOooooooooo Sky got a bunch more documentation with the car. Included with the documents was the title (finally). The title states “unknown” miles, but in the pile of docs was a receipt for some work around 94,000 miles. So, the odometer has turned and the car has 106,832 miles.
For the few who called BS on my claim of 6,832 miles YOU WERE RIGHT!

Not surprising, but cool car nonetheless. What’s the status on getting the engine rotating?

Regardless of the actual mileage, it's still a damn nice car in an amazing color.

never trying to take away from the car because any HO formula in any condition is just bad azz car.
my dad as a hobby bought and sold cars and heavily collected old and special interest cars. back in those days rolling back odometers was a very common thing and he tought me all the tell tale signs to look for to spot it. wear on the brake pedal was always the first thing to look at.

I think he is hoping to fire it up soon. Maybe the next week or two. They hadn’t started it since ‘94 or so is what I’m told.

That car is extremely special and one where math is there to resto, I believe. Along with pretty historical when done. In spite of mileage, it is a great find for all the hobby. It would be a magazine car done. The TA's kill, no argue, but the different color big boy Formula's jump at you for the difference they are.

It a loaded Formula for sure.

IMHO, I could do without some of those luxury features, and prefer the handling package and posi for a little performance to the HO...

Funny how some salesman got their clients to check all the boxes but the good ones. Maybe an old cadilac guy gone pontiac? Cool car with or without duh miles. Drive it and enjoy it.
Cheers

I think the owner should be very proud of a great car.
