Thumbs up SALUTE TO NON PONTIAC CAMMERS

There always seems to be someone planning to use a Cammer in a non-Pontiac build project, well you are not alone. I applaud those who take on the challenge

Here are some I've come across over the years, starting with the earliest.

I'm doing it like a chicken

The Oldsmobile Omega X-Body has the same front subframe as the 67-69 Firebirds. So motor mounts, crossmember,... everything available.

Hmm. I'm thinking a vintage tractor of some sort would be a cool project.

What is the car in pic 1, post 2? Beautiful car, but I don't know enough about that vintage to know what it is?

I think that is a '46 Streamliner so I guess it doesn't fit my non-pontiac theme

Don't forget the Canadians that raced a 69 Opel GT at Bonneville (2004-06) Reaching 185.6+mph before the engine blew.

Keith, I know of two tractors that have have/had a Cammer in them. One guy from Indiana years back told me that is where his 69 Firebird Sprint engine resides. He pulled it out when the car rusted away and used it in his tractor! He was collecting parts to rebuild it and place it in a Chevy II when I met him.

Wonder if he ever finished the Chevy II project. I'd like to talk to that guy...

Cool ...

... This was an interesting use of an OHC 6 but it didn't work out.

Default Jack does seem to have some unconventional heads on some unconventional Pontiacs
