Default Vin search

Has anyone used Bumper.com it says it is an antique vehicle search and gives you the info on your car? Thanks, Marc.

What kind of information do they say they can provide? I don't think it's possible anymore to trace back through previous owners, so all they can provide is probably real basic stuff like what model you have or where it was built. The best thing to do is get the documents from PHS.

Yes I have the PHS as I own my 2 cars for 33 & 29 years. I wanted to see what info comes up on the internet and was curious to see if it showed any previous owners. Thanks, Marc.

I got lucky tracking some of my old cars on “Check that Vin”. It’s only $3.50 per car. Nothing came up on some of them but others showed states they have been registered in plus dates and mileage. The oldest I found out info on was 1965. I find it extremely interesting finding out the history of vehicles.

I used the tool and it actually had pics of the car when it was advertised by the dealer I got it from. Approx price I paid and date. No other history of the pas 2 owners or location. 2000 Trans Am WS6

Do these sites hound you with ads and email looking for more business and your money?

https://www.vehiclehistory.com is mostly for newer car and no issues or ads or anything. Most other sites a joke wanting your email to get results or pay to get results.

But again, not going to find much info on any site for vintage cars.
